AI-Powered Swoop® Portable MRI Receives CE Mark and UKCA Approval, Delivering Unprecedented Image Quality to European Markets.
Hyperfine, our partner at the forefront of brain imaging innovation, has obtained CE Marking and UK Conformity Assessment (UKCA) approval for its Optive AI™ software. These approvals, which follow the U.S. FDA clearance, mark a key step in the company’s international expansion.
Thanks to Optive AI™, European users of the Swoop® system will benefit from a radically improved image quality, with greater clarity, uniformity, and more precise anatomical details. The deployment of this 10th-generation software is planned for the fourth quarter of 2025, with local language support available at launch.
Renowned clinicians have praised this advancement. According to Professor Simona Sacco from the University of L’Aquila, this software opens up new opportunities for the clinical deployment of the Swoop® system. Similarly, Dr. Joanne Rodda from Kent and Medway NHS Trust expressed her enthusiasm for the improvements brought by Optive AI™ and its potential for portable brain imaging in the United Kingdom.
These recent successes underscore Hyperfine‘s commitment to operational excellence and global innovation.
