Role Overview

As a Junior Clinical & Product Specialist, you will play a key role in the deployment and ongoing support of advanced medical solutions. You will assist clinical teams with the adoption, use, and maintenance of technologies designed to make care more effective, reliable, and patient-centered.

Location

Full-time role based in the Greater Toronto Area (home office with travel required).

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Train and support clinical teams in the use of medical equipment and planning solutions. Act as a clinical and technical point of reference for UpCare’s solutions, serving as a trusted contact for clinicians and internal teams.
  • Perform maintenance interventions, including technical adjustments, calibrations, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal device performance and user satisfaction.
  • Lead or participate in product demonstrations, on-site or remotely, showcasing product functionality, benefits, and best practices.
  • Gather, analyze, and communicate detailed field feedback (clinicians, technicians, end-users) to internal teams (R&D, Product, Support) to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and customer-centric development.
  • Participate in professional events, workshops, and clinical conferences, in person or virtually, to represent UpCare, deliver training, and engage with clinical stakeholders and key opinion leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian regulatory requirements and industry standards in training, product communications, and clinical support materials.

 

Profile

  • Education & Experience: Degree in Medical Imaging, Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences, or related field. Clinical and/or technical experience in radiodiagnostic or radiooncology is a strong asset.
  • Languages: Excellent written and spoken command of English and working French, to train, present, and collaborate effectively across diverse healthcare environments in Canada and internationally.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of clinical workflows and ability to carry out first-level technical interventions (adjustments, calibration, maintenance, minor repairs).
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time across Canada (and occasionally to the United States). A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Personal Qualities:
    – Professional, positive, and solution-oriented attitude.
    – Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills to engage with clinicians, technicians, and decision-makers.
    – Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to disruptive new technologies.
    – Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Additional Assets:
    – Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment.
    – Proficiency with digital tools (Microsoft Office, CRM systems, e-learning platforms).
